Week 1: My Work

Daydreaming of Kabuki

This work was created using bic ball point pens, six thus far to capture this scene from my kitchen window at about 12:00 noon. At this stage, the strongest light had been established outside the window, cresting interesting shadows and cast shadows through out the interior of the kitchen. The result is a delicate dance of light, shadow, and atmospheric perspective that pushes and pulls the viewers attention into the total composition. This process was a joy to explore and I may very well re-visit this process for future works or ideas.
